RAW: Las Vegas Presents DISCOVERY

Back in February I was invited to do a fashion show for Raw Vegas.

WHAT IS RAW?

RAW:natural born artists is an independent arts organization, for artists, by artists.

We're a community made up of creative individuals across the nation.
Our mission is to provide independent artists within the first 10 years of their career with the tools, resources and exposure needed to inspire and cultivate creativity.

We welcome all genres of art including independent film, fashion, music, visual art, performing art, hairstylists, makeup artists and more.

It was a really fun experience. 

Not only did I get to do a fashion show, I was interviewed, and got great photos of the event.
As well as networked a lot.

Few downsides happened but other then them it went very well.

Sugar Does San Francisco Review

Sugar Art and Fashion Show 2nd tour kicked off in San Francisco.

The second they announced it I knew I wanted to be apart of it.
I love the city and there was a lot of people over there I wanted to see.

This would be my second show with Sugar.

  The venue was this bar called Project One.

I liked this place 100 times better then the one they choose for Vegas. 

I was too busy to get any pictures myself, but I'll post ones from the Official Sugar photographer.

The place was perfect for the art show and the vendors.
There was so much amazing art.

The one and biggest problem I had was there was no runway.

The models were expected to just walk through the crowd.

For a fashion show that's very important. 

I'm not gonna lie I was mad, I paid a lot of money to be in this show.

The place was packed, so if you weren't in the front you couldn't see anything.

My mom who drove out with me missed the whole show.

As well as a bunch of friends who were nice enough to drive from different parts of the bay to see me.

I wasn't able to get a recording of the show, and the only pics I got are from the Sugar Photographers.
Again, that annoyed me. 

I like having a recording of the show and lots of pictures.

I would like to thank the Sugar Staff for the photos and hosting the event.
As well as all my models!

My overall rating is a 2/5.

 Everything was amazing except for not having a runway.

Sugar Does Vegas

Recently I was in my first fashion show.

I debuted my first collection for Beloved.

This post is pretty long and picture heavy.

The fashion show was ran by this company called Sugar Art and Fashion Show.

SA&FS is ran by 1981 Collection Designer Timmery Turner. SA&FS is a way to help underground female artists and designers get a chance to showcase and sell their art or fashion to the public.

The show was held at this bar called Club 2100.

The location I wasn't too excited about, it wasn't exactly in a nice part of Vegas.

Besides that the place was pretty ok. There wasn't much seating, but there also wasn't that large of an audience. 

When I first arrived there the models were still getting ready and the designers were setting up. 

Being my first show I was extremely excited to see the behind scenes of a fashion show.

Like most fashion event everything was late.

The first show didn't start until 10pm

Finally was the local Vegas designers.

Overall the show was amazing.

I can't wait to work with everyone from Sugar Art and Fashion Show again.
